Reservation Policy for all Floating, Cabin and Camping Rentals

  • Full deposit required for floating and camping reservations for Saturday and Holiday Weekends.
  • Full payment required for all RV, camping, boating, raft and cabin rental reservations 7 days prior to arrival for most summer weekend visits.
  • 7 day cancellation notice required for refund, less a 10% cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellation within 7 or fewer days of scheduled arrival date.
  • Float trips are made rain or shine. If extreme weather conditions prevent starting your float by 1 pm, you will be issued a raincheck for the date of your choice, based on availability.
  • No refunds or rainchecks on camping.

Restrictions

Children under the age of two (2) will not be allowed to float. The outdoors has risks. A waiver must be signed by all customers.

Alcohol Policy

Big Elk Camp is a family friendly campground. Please act respectably and drink responsibly.

Group Discounts

Group discounts are available before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. Weekdays – all the time. For group discounts to apply they must be collected and paid for as a group by the coordinator.

Dog Policy

Dogs brought to camp must be on a leash. Absolutely NO aggressive breeds.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours start at 11 pm. Noise should be confined to your camp area. No loud radios!
