Big Elk Camp and Canoe Rentals in Missouri

Canoe Extras

  • Cushions are $2.00 each
  • Backrests are $3.00 each
  • We shuttle your privately owned canoes for $30 each.
  • Dogs are $5 each - Please leave dogs at home when possible. Absolutely NO aggressive breeds.

Restrictions

  • Children under 2 years old will not be allowed to float.
  • 4 persons in a canoe will not be allowed.

Group Discounts
Group discounts are available before Memorial Day and after Labor Day. Weekdays – all the time. For group discounts to apply they must be collected and paid by the group coordinator.

Alcohol Policy
Big Elk Camp is an alcohol free campground. No alcohol to be consumed on the premises.

Section 1.0008, Drugged, drunk and disorderly conduct on public waters.
a.) Any persons under the influence of any regulated substance or alcohol on any public waters within McDonald County, Missouri, being drunk or disorderly or causing a public disturbance shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
